Overview
AirgunGuide ("we," "us," "this site") is a resource hub for air rifle shooters. This includes buying guides for air rifles and related gear, a directory of airgun forums and retailers, free printable targets, and our own in-house calculators (FPE, FPS, and others) that are also free to embed on other websites. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit, how it's used, and how you can opt out.
Information We Collect
We use third-party analytics tools to understand site traffic and usage patterns. These tools may collect information such as:
- Pages visited and time spent on the site
- General location (city or region level, derived from IP address)

Analytics Tools We Use

Embedded Calculators
Our calculators (FPE, FPS, sectional density, tank fill, and others) are free to embed on other websites. The embedded version of each calculator is a separate, minimal page that does not include Google Analytics, Ahrefs, or any other tracking or advertising code, and does not use cookies. It runs a small script that tells the host page how tall to display the calculator, which only communicates a pixel height value between the calculator and the page it's embedded on, no personal data, browsing activity, or identifying information is collected or transmitted. If you view a calculator directly on airgunguide.com rather than through an embed, standard site analytics apply as described above.
Affiliate Disclosure
AirgunGuide does not currently earn commissions from any retailer or advertising partner. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device that help sites remember preferences and measure usage. This site uses cookies for analytics purposes as described above. A cookie notice is shown on your first visit, letting you accept or decline non-essential analytics cookies.
