Scope Zero Target Builder

Build a Zero Target

Enter your pellet's muzzle velocity and ballistic coefficient, your scope's height above the bore, the distance you actually want to be zeroed at, and how far away you'll print and use this target. Click Build Target for a target showing an estimate of where your pellet should land relative to your point of aim, at whatever distance you can practically test at.

Don't know your pellet's BC? Use the BC Calculator first.

Uses typical values for BC (0.024) and sight height (1.75") so you don't need to know them. Switch to Advanced if you have your own numbers.

How to Use This Target

Print the target and set it up at your chosen target/print distance. Aim at the crosshair mark and take a few shots. If your rifle is truly zeroed at your desired distance, your shots should land on or near the solid dot. If they don't, adjust your scope's turrets until your point of impact moves onto the dot, then confirm at your actual zero distance.

This Is a Ballpark, Not a Guarantee

This calculator runs on a fixed standard atmosphere, 59°F, sea level, no humidity adjustment, so it won't account for a hot summer day, altitude, or other real-world conditions that shift a pellet's actual trajectory. It also assumes a properly mounted, uncanted scope. Treat the result as a strong starting point that gets you close fast, not a substitute for confirming zero at the range with your actual rifle and pellets.
