Now the funny part: "It Groups like a laser. The trigger will need work (Its 4 lbs now) but that's here nor there. This thing is a tack driver, Gouged barrel and all. I have killed several birds and such with it in the last week. It holds groups like my RWS and is not hold sensitive at all. Its actually fun because you point and pull and it hits there. As for pellets, it likes any one you throw at it for accuracy."
Chronograph results: "Speed wise I have seen 950 with 7.9 JSB and 885 with Crosman Destroyers. This gun will do an honest 1000 fps with RWS Super H 7 grainers. I seen 995 all day."
"Well if any of you know me you know I can't keep the barrels too long. This one I really trimmed down and re-crowned. Its down to 13 inches from back of breech to tip. Its very easy to cock as the stroke does not go past 90° hardly."
"I think with trigger work this may be the best bargain OUT THERE. Its a $50 reconditioned gun from Sportsman's Guide. The wood stock is at least worth that much. I will take it apart and tune it soon. From the initial looks I think a Talon seal can be re-sized. The seal is already doable with O-rings as I have done that to the Talon. This is a heavy hitter in .177 and damn accurate for a $50 gun. I have shot $500 guns that are not as accurate. Hubster has a thread going already that has helped me already. What this thing looks like is a mini Talon to the tee. I think this can be a real work horse with a lot of knockdown power that can be used on rainy days or where you do not want to damage your German guns. What happens when it out shoots your German gun?????????"
