Can you please share which one you are using?
Maybe advise me how to make decent one myself.
I'm thinking to fill sock with rice and sow it to velcro straps. Am I on the right track?

I was given a knee pad a few years ago. It is just one of the super heavy duty ones you can get from the hardware store that the inside padding had been cut out of.

Not sure if this is what you are thinking of or what Jennifer posted. This is a shooting rest bean bag filled with plastic beads and attached to my forearm using some shoe strings.

wouldn't it be against WFTF rules? From what I know it needs to be flexible enough to be folded in half.
Jeff, I was thinking on having something like that on my knee. Idea is to obtain better stability by maximizing surface are of contact with the rifle. I think what you did accomplishes this.

Since the pad is attached to his rifle, it does not need to be flexible. I actually prefer the padding attached to the rifle than my knee like what Jeff has shown.

Just went outside to do some shooting with it. Shot various distances from 55 to 45 yards.
Those are 2 inch sticky targets. I feel little bit more stable with this bean bag.
