I agree Paul Cray is a heck of a competitor and a very nice gentlemen. I pleased he came back to the game after being AWOL for a few years. Since the advent of the Hunter class in 2006 we have had a West coast airgunner win both the Springer and PCP Championships in this class.  Just a shoot out for Scott Hull from Morro Bay, Ca. Very talented and pretzel twisting shooter, and a heck of a nice guy. 

@bill-day For the sake of clarity Bill, what the article meant to say was I'm the only shooter who has won Piston, Open and WFTF divisions. Unless I'm mistaken?

My Apologies Paul, my comments wasn't meant to degrade your performance. Just thought the Hunter class has a All Star that also deserves recognition. I'm sure that every class does but certainly not at your level. I'm not sure I'll be around when you attempt the present most Popular class (Hunter PCP) but I'll re rooting for you. 

Edit *** Scott has won three different classes in two divisions. I had forgotten about his 2015 and 2018 Open Piston class wins. For a Hunter airgunner that is frugal with his money on owning the best equipment he does pretty well. Sorry to add this so late but it is factual.

Most of us commonly switch class and division when describing FT. I do it all the time. However, to be precise, we have Hunter, WFTF, and Open Divisions split into Precharge and Piston Classes.

Keith, Thanks for reinforcing my beliefs ? In the Army I served in the 1st Air Calvary Division and Seventh Infantry. In Civilian Life I strive to be a Class Act.... Unfortunately someone set he bar to high for me but my efforts march on.

Hello Paul.  Thanks for two fine articles on your history in FT.  Always enjoyed your company and camaraderie on the lanes.  And I was quite happy to see your return at the 2019 Baton Rouge nationals.  Glad to know you are ram-rodding your own club up in the great state of New York.  Some beautiful country up there.  Hope to see you in San Luis Obispo in October.  Keep on keeping on.
