Interesting, but could they provide more information?
Uruguay is a relatively small country, specially nestled between two giants like Brazil and Argentina, but, depending on where the match is held, you could still be looking at travelling 400 miles between Montevideo Airport and the northern border; to give you a reference it's as far as Edinburgh (Scotland) is from London (England); or between Port Colborne (Canada) and Washington DC.
In South American roads that can mean anything between 7 hours and 2 days. Depending on the day, even on the same road.
Flights take between 13 and 23 hours, depending on how you arrange the flights / connections, and costs of flights start around the $1250 figure.
Stay should be relatively inexpensive, again, depending on the host city/town.
There is ample time to start planning the trip itself, but the data about the competition has to be in in about 4 weeks time to get everything ironed out in a reasonable manner.

The match will be held in close vicinity toTrinidad. I understand that the organizers will be setting up accomodations. If you're interested you might want to have that arranged before buying a plane ticket.
