For that price anyone can own a PCP. I love my precision guns but...C' Mon!!! $100 Bucks? Somebody tell me why I shouldn't! Sure would be fun to blast off twelve shots like I was firing a double action rifle (Not True Semi-Auto). Just the ticket for eradicating those pesky tin cans that seem to raid my recycle bin every week. Yeah,... A fool and his money... I know....I know....

I agree. I have a Euro .177 Maximus for a discount PCP. My relative bought his son the Wildfire and brought it over for me to mess with. Never could get it to group anything like the Maximus. Pass.

...especially given the availability of compatibly priced air sources...
OK...I will admit an attration above that of the co2 version. Am not addicted to power, so I really don't care all that much about how much "more" the PCP version can produce. Air is a whole PCP air is a lot less temp. sensitive than CO2, and the use I have in mind is mostly a cold weather use.
In fact, less power would be more of an attraction for me (but I know enough about that system that I'd likely just accept/deal with whatever power it vame out-the box).
Put a goodred dot sight on one, take it out into a barn/outbuilding in dim light, and give it a try (likely multi-shots) on running mice/small rats and it might be a "winner".
Would be a "one.trick.pony", really good at one particular use, but not very good at all other PCP uses...but "pass shooting" running mice in mid wintwer might be where it shines.
Maybe next fall...when rodents tend to invade warm-human spaces...but not now.
