Vortex Pellets

i had a bad accident in late 2016 and was in and out of the hospital and rehab for quite some time, So getting back into things finally and i was in my local BigR store here in Indiana and they carry sporting goods of all kinds, a nice store. I was not looking for air gun related items but they do carry the usual air rifles, and was looking at there pellet supply and noticed these pellets from Vortex, never seen them or heard of them, i am guessing some here have. the ones they had were 14.66 gr and opened a tin and they looked really nice. bought a tin and shot them and they shoot as well as any of the high quality ones everyone uses. seen they were made in Germany so i know they were high quality pellets as they proved to be, My question here is has anyone tried them and my other question is do they make them in 18 gr this is what i shoot most of but do shot the 16 gr also. If you happen to know anything about these let me know thanks, Eddie

I bought of a tin of the Hatsan Vortex .22's in 13.12 grain and liked them a fair amount, especially considering the price at the time compared to JSB's and others that were getting hard to find at reasonable prices at that point. Wasn't long after they were out of stock forever so never actually got another tin, and then we were making a 1,000+ mile move and still haven't gotten a chance to unpack my airmax2 pistol and plink... Soon...Hopefully!

The Vortex Supreme and Vortex Eco are rebranded H&N Field Target Trophy and H&N Baracuda Green pellets. I believe the Vortex Express pellets are also made by H&N, but are exclusive to Hatsan.

I have purchased, and used, the .25 caliber H&N Field Target Trophy  (19gr) and found them to be just fine for shooting.  I wanted more velocity from my Lelya .25 caliber, so instead of buying a .22 caliber barrel I simply bought lighter pellets.  I found no notable change in accuracy, but a significant increase in velocity.  I recommend them!

These are decent pellets.  Check out Fieldsupply .com, they have these on sale quite often.  Right now .30 are $10.50 a 200 count tin 44.75 gr.

These pellets have transformed my old R1. Under an inch at 60 plus yards! Found them at a Farm and Fleet a few years ago. I was/am amazed at the difference they make over Beeman Silver Jets I had. For me the Express group a little better than the Supreme but the rabbits can't tell any difference.
