Has anyone ordered a RAW since Airforce bought them?Has wait time gone down?

No, but I ordered a RAW right after thanksgiving 11/17 before the "merger" and don't suppose that I will ever see it.
That's ok, I'm not interested in a mass produced airgun.
They probably will have the same price tag and I have a hard time believing that these will be of the same quality.
Time will tell.
Winston may not know Martin and Sandra Rutherford very well, but I'm guessing part of the deal with Airforce included taking care of their customers.
I've owned 6 different RAW rifles over the last couple of years and have nothing but praise for Martin and Sandra RuTTerford, thanks.
I think the real question here is how much control do they have now. (?)
Mass production and quality usually do not go hand in hand.
Like I said, "time will tell".
I think from a collector's standpoint now is the time to snap up every RAW his/her wallet will allow.
Pardon my mis-spelling, but I speak with a 'lithp'. ? I'd think Martin negotiated with his customers' interests in mind so they wouldn't get stiffed in any way.
Agreed; Rutterford-Era RAWs may prove a good investment. Unfortunately I had to mortgage the farm to afford ONE, but it's served me very well.
If you call RAW you will find Martin and Sandra still answering the phones. Rifles are still being made in the same shop by the same people. There is no change - yet. Down the road, production will move to Texas - but Martin is insistent that if it has the RAW name on it that a rifle must meet his exacting standards.
Sometimes I think I'm the only person on the planet that had a not so great experience with a RAW which ultimately resulted in me having to return it but I think mine was a fluke and I'd sure like to try another one some day. I just couldn't wrap my head around waiting 4 months to try another one at the time.
I wonder if the increased efficiency in manufacturing these guns means we might see a bit of drop in price? That would be pretty awesome. I can't wait to hear reports from first adopters of the AirForce manufactured RAW's.
Does anyone know approximately when the AirForce RAW's are going to start rolling out?
@johnp66 if you want a RAW save yourself a ton of time and order it thru Air Venturi , im a dealer and im not happy with there turn around time the bug fish get everything first. I have 3 beautiful custom RAWs if your still looking. abvpaintball@yahoo.com
