Fact is, I know someone (very) closely associated with the situation who has personally stated that pricing differences less than half this much are "compeletely [sic] outrageous"! ?
this is why you have to do your home work on pricing, though in this case there are fewer seller but in most cases there are many and even in the case of going overseas
and shipping is such a mixed bag, are you paying for fast shipping, which normally is little if any fast, slow shipping which is normally fine but cost way less
the total cost is your objective but in this case it could be all about a very large shipper vs a very small shipping company and as a company you have to cover shipping but again not make money on it
I favorite kind of shipping is free and it will make my mind up most of the time

Slow? Well, the last thing I ordered from Pyramyd (a Seneca Dragonfly) was shipped using their cheapest method (in this case it was free!) on 5/14 and it arrived on my doorstep on 5/16.
I've never seen USPS priority be any faster than that, and frequently it's slower, sometimes much slower.
Yep, do your homework...and find the same gun for $99, at any Big 5 sporting goods store. You probably have a couple in your city, they are closing out. the Beeman labeled version, so this is a time limited deal. Find the online "5% off sale items "coupon,and save another couple bucks. Open the boxes, any flaws or scuffs on the gun are worth another $5-$10 off.

Well said, Scot. But it takes quite a few 5%s and $5-$10s off to add up to the 54% difference in the example above. A healthy helping of caveat emptor is also sometimes useful.
