Here we go again! Just got a second LCS SK-19 but this time in 22. I have/had a very love hate relationship with these. Back in 2021, in the night of the pandemic I bought a LCS SK-19 in 25 cal. Initially I wanted an Impact in 25, but during that time everything was on back order and these were readily available from AOA so I got it. I don’t know why but from the very beginning I developed a love hate relationship with this piece. It was hard to get used to. Non removable mag, loud, kind of cumbersome to load, shot count not even near as high as an Impact, and probably worst of all if you ever had a pellet jamb, you had to take the damn thing apart just to clear the jamb. In any event, the darn thing was just overall quirky. However, my 25 cal was just effortlessly accurate (with pellets), incredibly powerful, semi-auto/full auto function was just awesome, oh and another thing that drew me to these LCSs is that it’s American made, quality titanium and stainless parts, and they seem to be built like tanks. Long story short I sold the darn thing but something just kept lingering around in the back of my mind saying that I needed another one! 😂
Recently one popped up at AOA in the used section but this time in 22, they said it’s completely been gone through, revealed, and reconditioned (however I just doubt that a little). I just received it several days ago, just cleaned it, set up my favorite scope- a Votex Diamondback 4-16 x 44mm and will see how she does.
I wanted this LCS SK19 in .22 cal this time so I can use it for cotton tale hunting. The 25 cal just does too much damage to the meat.
like I mentioned I have a very love-hate-relationship with this particular gun. I guess it’s the same type of a relationship I have with Benjamin Marauder pistols, I love them, I hate them, I buy them and I sell them. I’m on my forth Benji right now so…. But anyway YOLO!
