Hatsan Dominator 200S

Hello,

Hatsan had a closeout and I bought the Dominator fixed barrel rifle from them this month in .177. So far I like it! It is very accurate on my inside 10 yard target (to cold here to shoot outside yet).

Anyone have any experience with the Dominator?

I plan on getting one of the .25's. I have ABSOLUTELY NO need for another air rifle but at the closeout price I find is may be hard to pass up...

I now own the .177 and the .22 caliber. I too could not pass it up with the price they are offering. The last time I checked Hatsan still had it avalible in all three calibers.

There is a guy on YouTube called Rich Delong that I am friends with on FaceBook that just bought a .22 caliber. I think Rich is going to break his down and tune it. He says he will post a video.

The guns I have are a TANK! When Hatsan says "SOLID" on there advertising; they MEAN IT!

The FPS these guns shoot seams to be as advertised, however they are not as powerful as the 150's (or even the 125's)

Come back on this thread and let us know how the .25 works out.

I will tell you this; The barrel is FILTHY on these guns when you get them. Full of some grease like crap that was hard to get completely out of mine. I cleaned the barrel again after about 50 shots and found from the looks of the cleaning patches that I had not had the barrel completely clean.

The example I have in .25 cal leaks at the front of the compression chamber resulting in low velocity.It's a simple fix that I need to get done.The compression is a two piece affair.Current production rifles may not have this problem.

Yes I have been following the stock level on the .25's for about 4 months. I already 10 rifles so sliping another one past the wife will take a little finese but it still looks like I have time. I picked up a .25 (my first .25) 135 last year and other than the cocking effort I really like it. I shoot off a Gen 3 Jim Shockly tripod so the weight of the dominator is not a  issue for me. I want to put an air stripper on it and maybe an LDC in future just becasue you can. Having a 20ft/lb target quality .25 really appeals to me. Until the review review on the gun there was almost NOTHING other there on them. It's pretty much a TX clone (which I also have) but with a Hatsan twist. I will be sure to report back once I "pull the trigger" and get one.

I am sure Hatsan would repair it for you or drop in a gas ram if you wanted.
