I've owned a DaveG TAC722 for 6 years and this is one of my favorite PCP's.
This rifle is not only an elegantly crafted custom airgun but has the accuracy and handling that makes it a pleasure to shoot.
Anybody else out there own one of these custom creations?

Simply a beautiful work of art!!! To call them a gun seems to do them and DaveG an injustice.
I have always wanted a high end air gun, but after looking at a few of DaveG's here on the Yellow, that was it for me. I had volunteered for a few deployments to fund one, but then DaveG had to stop making them. Daystates are nice but a DaveG..... ohhh man. You are so fortunate to have one brother.
It left a major hole in the air gun world when he stopped crafting those beautiful weapons.

Awesome airgun. I admired DaveG’s builds for years. Unbelievable talent and craftsmanship he has. I miss his posts about hunts and builds and walking/stalking his property.
I agree some of the most enjoyable times of the old yellow. Dave G with his posts and builds and quality of his work was amazing. Speaks volumes when you think I've never seen one come up for sale. Godspeed Dave G?
A friend had one and it was a work of art, shot great too. Did talk to him once for one of his builds but his cutomer waiting list was too long. Additionaly, he was contemplaiting retirement because of care he had to devote his wife.
BTW, did Dave pass away, did know his wife was very frail with a disabling desease.

That's an heirloom quality rifle, I'm sure you're aware.
When I had talked w/ Dave, and heard his asking price, I was shocked at how low when guns that weren't custom made were listed at near twice the amount in some cases.
Yes, regulators, external adjustments, better valves have come along. Doesn't mean that rifle right there can't compete with any of them if you know the shot curve & have its favorite pellets. I believe he used LW barrels so choked & not any fussier than any other. Less so most likely. I bet he took the time to chamfer every O-ring channel he cut so reseals weren't a PITA.

Love that DaveG! Here's one I found a few years back.
Sorry to bring up this old post but I have to say how I truly admired the work of DaveG. I was honored and privileged to have him make a stock for me back in 2007. He lives but a 45 minute drive from my house and I was able to visit his home, see his work and get a custom fit for my stock. Due to some financial issues I had to part with that stock and I kick myself to this day. The airgun world surely misses his true craftsmanship and his great knowledge.
