Well my new Bandit is all done. New grips w/ forearm,lighter trigger spring (1.5 lbs pull), and a 2pc. barrel band (don't have to take
the barrel off to install). Checked the crown and is good.(w/Q-tip) Put a Bushnell 4-12 scope on it, and works good for my type of
shooting at my age(77+). Tried a Red dot on it @ 10m, and could not see target. LOL. It shots great w/H&N 10.63 match. For me it

Mine in .22 arrived today. If it shoots well, I'm going to take down the huge grip also. Did your barrel band improve the accuracy?
Terry, the band did help some. I made it two pc's. so I would not have to pull the barrel and to save the o-rings. They are
very small in size. I went with .177 because of pellet choice is greater and I don't hunt anymore. If you pull the depresser
off to clean barrel, watch how the baffels come out. Here is a pic of them. Craig
You're right, the baffles go flying after you un-thread the ldc. Crown doesn't look too bad on mine so far, but I'll check it some more when I clean the barrel.

Being a big believer in free-floated barrels when/if possible, I (personally) believe barrel-bands are inherently EVIL; more-so the longer the barrel, and the more towards the muzzle they're positioned. That said, barrel-bands are not nearly so accuracy-affecting with pistols. All that said, what a great idea you had to make your's a two-piece, clamp-on style! Good show Bud.

Well,I added rear stock to it.
looking at these it seems the trigger is the same as the one used on the Diana chaser and if so the back screw on the trigger is to short a 3mm x 6 or 8mm helps in the adjustment also if you get ambitious if you put a 3m x 6 or 8mm screw in the sear between the two trigger screws it makes a great trigger stop
a drill press is needed and a torch to heat the metal a 2mm starter drill and 2.5mm finish drill and a a tap in 3mm x .50 the sear is hard as hell without torching the front end you can't drill it as i said ambitious
all screws 3mm screws are .5 thread pitch
