I've been receiving Shotgun News (Now Firearms News) since the 90's. Many years ago you would see a Tom Gaylord article every quarter in the magazine. The articles are now in every monthly magazine. I quickly looked at his blog, and did not see any overlap. If these are exclusive, some readers might consider a subscription for these four page spreads in 8.5x14" format. Just curious if anyone else has noticed.

My Dad used to get Shotgun News and save Tom's articles with me.
Sometimes one of Tom's articles are available on the web site to read but I checked today and none were there.
For the most part, I think the Shotgun News or Firearms News articles are a rehashing or combining several parts of a blog together into one article with some of the details that we airgunners would be interested in but not the general shooting public left out. At least that is what I have found to be the case.
I enjoy reading his blog every day. I am amazed he cranks out so much material. He is not always right, sometimes makes bad assumptions or jumps to bad conclusions, but I think all of us do. He is honest to admit his mistakes when he understands that he has made them.

Back in the day I would see Tom Gaylord articles every three or four months in black and white. However, they are in color every month now. It has been going on for some time, and thought it would be worthwhile to bring it up to the airgun community. Although it is primarily a firearms publication, many of us own both.
Shapshot from July issue:
Years ago Tom used to publish for Shotgun News and Pyramid Air. We did an article together (see link below) in which he was informed that Shotgun News needed a Larger Image File Size than that required for Online publishing in Pyramid Air. The article appeared in both publications about the same time, but we were concerned that we might not be able to transfer my e-mail size images (-1Kb) suitable for Printed Media in size. Anyway the Pyramid Air online article came out a few months before the Printed article in Shotgun News.

For those of you that are interested, you can receive 15 issues for $12. That's the lowest rate they offer. Just received another in the mail today, but I already have a subscription. I picked the digital subscription, but not impressed with viewing this format on a phone. So the print subscription for $12 is the best deal. Gaylord's airgun articles run from two to four pages per month in color.
Tom is a compulsive writer who is very knowledgeable and always entertaining. I've been following him off and on since his "Airgun Letter" days.
