pellet test

Got bored today, so I took 4 different peelets and fired them into a pine 2x6 to compare penetration and deformation.
The pellets:
RWS miesterkuglen (wadcutter) 8.2 gr
RWS Super HP (hollow point) 6.9 gr
Gamo Rocket 9.6 gr
Gamo Redfire(?) ? gr

I used the Diana 36 I haven't chronied this rifle yet so no fps specs this time around. I was bored, but not bored enough to break out the crony :D
The Rocket is the penetrator followed by the Redfire. The Super HP came apart for the most damage.
So no surprises the pellets performed like I expected :thumb:

Rockets really penatrate....Try some 22grain ones in a PCP
at over 50fpe...stops those bunny's in there tracks....

22grain Rockets ?? Where yer buy them ??/

Remove the tip from a .22 preditor and glue
a daisy .177 steel BB in the hole...
After all its about all a Preditors good for...
