I am writing this post, feeling myself quite frustrated. I am once again having to remove my scope to get the rear portion-with its small screw-properly seated, as the notch in my Gamo Slient Stalker has been stripped (?). I really hate the dove tail mounting of my rifle. :mad:
Anyway, after a bit of tweaking, I believe I got the scope on fast. However, the problem is now that I cannot get the scope to zero at ten yards! I finally gave up, as the sun was starting to set and blind me, but I will try again, when I have a new tin of Crosman Premier HP pellets.
I might have to spring for one of those rifle bench rests (?) to actually have my rifle at the exact spot for each zeroing shot. I am definitely buying up in quality next time, probably a Benji Trail 1500.
