I wanted to give you all a heads up on the air rifle scopes that Flying Dragon Air Guns is selling.
Today I received a 4x32 AO scope from Mike Melick
I ordered this scope late Tuesday night and it was shipped out 1st thing Wednesday. I received it today, (Friday), and couldn't be happier with my purchase.
The scope was $45.00 shipped.
It has great optics, the turrets are nice and crisp and the sight picture was nice and clear even in low light conditions.
I zero'd the scope in 9 shots and proceeded to shoot some groupings to see how it does. In short, I was amazed.
I mounted this scope on my Ruger Blackhawk which I've always had some trouble shooting.
I've never been a bench rest shooter but on the few occasions I tried it looked like I'd hit the target with a 12 gauge shotgun.
Well tonight I set up my high tech shooting station consisting of two rubbermaid coolers stacked up and an old gym sock filled with a bag of rice, as a rest. Yeah, I know you are all envious of my set up.
Anyway, I shot four rifle targets and couldn't be happier.
My first target had four shots in the 1/2 inch bullseye, with one flyer.
My second target had all five in the bullseye although there was some horizontal stringing.
My third target had all five in the bullseye and were grouped, (for me anyway), really close together. No anything like some of the five shot groups I've seen others post, but still really close together.
My fourth target wasn't very impressive but this is due to me.
I was rushing my shots and getting lazy and also feeling really giddy due to the success I was seeing out of this rifle. I've never seen this rifle shoot anywhere even close to what it was doing tonight.
I had no idea that good quality optics could make such a difference.
The only other scopes I have are a 4-16x40 Centerpoint and the cheap scope that came with the Blackhawk. Because of this I might not be the best to review a scope, but I can't say enough about the deal I felt I got.
Again, the cost of this scope was $45.00 shipped and he also offers 3-9x40 and 4-16x40, both AO and all rated for air gun use.
The cost of the adjustable scopes are $55.00 shipped which I still feel is an amazing deal.
Hopefully this will help someone who is looking for a good quality scope at a bargain basement price and as always the service from Flying Dragon is beyond compare.
